Kylie started out in applied analytics, undertaking research and analysis for industries like education, construction and health. But a growing realisation that insights can only drive change when widely consumed prompted a cross specialisation into design. Her experience showed that meaningful data by itself is not enough, it needs to be thoughtfully designed as well. And so she continues her journey as a Lightfold founder, following her passion for making data not just valuable and meaningful, but also beautiful. She’s the author of Lightfold’s design methodology, Tesseract, which encodes user-centricity into every implementation. Expect to see her in Tesseract sessions, formulating new data applications as well as in playback sessions discussing our latest builds.
